Summer 2023 Flood Recovery: Small business owners have specific legal needs

Was your business impacted by the floods? The Vermont Small Business Law Center launched an expedited services option for flood victims in summer 2023, to meet the needs of our community members with legal support.

To request expedited services, including a priority half-hour educational consult with a faculty member, and/or a no cost referral to an attorney, submit an inquiry and select the “I have a legal need related to impact from the July 2023 floods” option under the “Describe your legal need” question.

You may also drop into one of our monthly statewide Food Legal Assistance Clinics held through our partnership with Legal Services Vermont and Vermont Legal Aid. For more information on locations and times for upcoming Flood Legal Assistance Clinics, please visit our events page.
