Kathryn Stapleton

Kathryn “Katie” Stapleton is a 3L J.D. Candidate at Vermont Law & Graduate School (Class of 2026) and a current research assistant focused on International and Environmental Law topics. She brings experience in immigration removal defense, voting rights and civil rights organizing, and policy-focused research at the intersection of environmental justice and clean-energy transitions. Katie previously served as Voter Protection Director for the Tennessee Democratic Party, as well as working for Universal Music Publishing as a data analytics and income tracking coordinator. In the Business Law Clinic, she supports clients with business formation and governance, contracts, and compliance.
