The Vermont Small Business Law Center will be featured at the Vermont Horse Council’s 2024 Equine Industry Summit. We will present on legal issues facing the Vermont equine community. Topics may include:

• Act 250
• Land use/permitting
• Liability issues
• Other issues unique to equine businesses, such as the interaction between recent increase in property taxes, current use, lack of availability for equine businesses who aren’t producing hay on their large properties
