At the Flood Legal Assistance Clinic in Barre, VT, volunteer lawyers will be available to:
- -Provide limited legal advice and information and answer questions
- -Help file FEMA appeals and late applications for the July 2024 floods (and the July 2023 floods where applicable)
- -Help with recertifying Continued Temporary Housing (Rental) Assistance for the July 2023 floods
- -Assist with other paperwork, such as leases and communications with landlords or insurance claims
This event will provide legal information, advice, and limited assistance. Representatives from Vermont Legal Aid, Legal Services Vermont, and the Vermont Small Business Law Center at Vermont Law & Graduate School will be present. No registration needed; walk-in.
