BRIAN BAILEY
Brian Bailey is an engineer-lawyer, with degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and law from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Prior to his legal career, Brian was a practicing engineer designing and overseeing construction and testing of automation equipment related to material handling and processing. Brian has 18 years of legal experience including 14 years working with a large national firm and four years as a solo practitioner or in small firms. Today, Brian serves clients together with his colleagues at Main Street Law LLP in Montpelier, Vermont.
Brian has served clients ranging from individuals and startups to multinational corporations, including in the fields of human prosthetics, off-road and recreational vehicles, advanced materials for the medical and aerospace industries, and consumer goods.
Brian also teaches law students at the Vermont Small Business Law Center and Clinic of Vermont Law & Graduate School.
In his precious spare time, Brian wears one or more of his many hats, including but not limited to: devoted father of two young sons, avid gardener, camping and road trip adventurer, mountain biker, snowboarder, maple sugarer, tinkerer, home chef, and home repairman.
